Crocheting isn’t just a hobby; it’s a remarkable art form that offers a multitude of benefits for your mind, body, and soul. Nestled in the heart of Tuscany’s serene countryside, our retreat invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the soothing world of crochet.

One of the most significant advantages of crocheting is its therapeutic quality. The rhythmic motion of looping yarn around your hook and creating intricate patterns is a proven stress-reliever. As you crochet amidst the rolling vineyards and olive groves, you’ll find your worries melting away, replaced by a sense of calm and tranquillity. The act of crocheting stimulates the release of endorphins, boosting your mood and reducing anxiety, making it the perfect antidote to the demands of modern life.

In addition to promoting emotional well-being, crocheting enhances your cognitive skills. It engages your mind in a delightful dance of creativity, requiring concentration and problem-solving as you navigate intricate stitches and patterns. As you master new techniques under the warm Tuscan skies, you’ll find your cognitive abilities expanding and your memory sharpening. The sense of accomplishment that comes with completing a project is immensely rewarding, bolstering your self-esteem and confidence.

The beauty of our Tuscan Crochet Retreat

The beauty of our Tuscan Crochet Retreat lies not only in the craft itself but also in the sense of community it fosters. Connecting with like-minded individuals who share your passion for crochet, you’ll forge lasting friendships, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights from experienced instructors. Moreover, the tangible results of your crocheting endeavours are another perk to savour. As your skill flourishes, you’ll create stunning, handmade items to cherish or share with loved ones, serving as treasured reminders of your journey. Emma & Marina will guide you through the week’s projects and can help out if you are fairly new to crochet.

The combination of creative expression, relaxation, and cultural immersion makes our Tuscan Crochet Retreat an unforgettable and enriching experience.

In summary, crocheting transcends a simple pastime, offering a wealth of physical, mental, and emotional benefits. At our Tuscan Crochet Retreat, you’ll discover a world of therapeutic crafting, cognitive enrichment, and meaningful connections, all while surrounded by the breath-taking beauty of Tuscany. About the hosts

Emma – Oh So Pretty And Clever
Hi! I'm Emma, and I'm the founder of Oh So Pretty And Clever crochet courses & retreats. I live in Cheshire with my 3 daughters and 2 cats. If it's not been said enough already, I'm an absolute crochet addict! I can't go a day without picking up my hook. I have been crocheting for around 15 years, and teaching this wonderful craft since 2019.
Since the launch of my crochet workshops and retreats I have been honoured to receive several awards and accolades, as well as great reviews. This has given me the encouragement to develop Oh So Pretty And Clever further, and embark on this amazing journey with Marina.
I really enjoy teaching crochet, and have a patience I never imagined I had (or so i'm told!) My WIP pile is massive, and my yarn stash is ridiculous, but I know that if you're reading this, you can probably relate!

Marina – Bloodimaryart Crochet

Hello, I'm Marina, the Crochet Designer and natural fiber enthusiast behind Bloodimaryart!
At some point in my life, I got itchy feet and decided to explore the world: I have been working and traveling in different countries for the past 5 years, mostly in Spain, Australia, France and South East Asia.

Crochet has become my medium for creative self-expression, the way in which I manifest my ideas, imagination, beliefs and values.
I always try to channel my experiences and learnings into my crafting, showing my personality through my own eclectic style.

I started designing one-of-a-kind crochet patterns at the end of 2019, mainly creating designs for the English crochet community and selling crochet pieces. During the years I became a crochet teacher, opened a YouTube Channel where I share free tutorials and tips about this craft and began collaborating with yarn brands and crochet magazines.

Organising a crochet retreat was a big dream of mine and I’m so grateful to have met Emma on my path. I can’t wait to meet you all!
